No matter. The day's work has begun. I'm a little sluggish this morning and rested my bottom on the couch a minute or ten extra to watch Facebook shorts. I'm off the couch now.

The birds are chirping. They always make the neighborhood seem so peaceful. In our ignorance, they could be quarreling hard, and we wouldn't know it. Maybe the wife birds are chewing out the husband birds. They could be gossiping about a bad neighbor. Who knows!
